I fooled around with this yesterday, trying combinations of favoriting the arrows and bows, un-favoriting them, and a bunch of other minor "glitch-test" type stuff. Skyrim thinks that I have no arrows equipped. But the single error in my game is I cannot use bows! I can double wield and use magic attacks with my left hand just fine.so it's not an issue with my offhand. My LOOT results have no errors or conflicts.

I use MO, LOOT to play them in the correct order, and TES5Edit to clean them. Ok so I have quite a few mods though I'm not even close to the maximum. That should narrow down the potential mods to a smaller number than 255.Ĭan someone please help me out with some advice on this? If anyone is searching around for the solution, or a similar problem equipping an item, check your mod list to make sure an item has not been reclassified or renamed because it might introduce complications.

I only had Hearthfire, had yet to download Dawnguard or Dragonborn, so I think that they were resorted as bolts and so would not work in the original Skyrim w/o expansions. The answer was a sorting mod.not headbombs and I forget which sorting mod it was, but after awhile I found that arrows that were re-sorted as "arrow - steel" or "arrow - iron" refused to be equipped while unaltered arrow names were equippable like "Steel arrow" and "An-Xileel Arrow".
